Rex Bushell Over the years I have gained considerable experience and lots of enjoyment from doing projects. I've created this website to pass on the knowledge I've gained and to inspire others into planning, completing and enjoying their own project. Please read the terms and conditions before continuing on your journey of this site.

The information on this site is not given as an authority on any topic. It is given as my personal experience. I get inspired by reading widely on topics of interest, sourcing information from libraries, magazines, Google, relevant organisations and specialty stores.

It is all about project management. Whether it is a large or small project the rules are the same, define your goal, research, design and complete.

Problem solving can be a critical part of managing any project. Don't let a problem phase you. Use the three step problem solving rule:

  1. Define the actual problem. It often helps to write it down.
  2. Find a solution. Be practical. Sometimes a compromise is required.
  3. Action that solution.
This basic concept can be used for something like converting your heavy clay soil into organic friable loam for your vegetable garden or designing a house for an unusual shaped section.

Most of the images in this website can be viewed enlarged to show more detail by clicking on the image - then double click the image again to reduce it.

This website will be evolving with content updates and new pages added regularly;

  • designing a life style block (we won the "NZ National Small Farmer of the Year" in 1997),
  • designing an heirloom book case,
  • building and running a cafe,
  • designing a budget kitchen that operates like a professional one,
to mention a few, so put this site onto your favourites list and follow the progress.

I hope you find this website helpful and inspiring.
